Advent season is here and so is the 2024 Advent Pot! It’s a season of waiting - anticipating the coming of Jesus! Advent wreaths have been used for centuries to remember the Savior being born and anticipate Christmas Day. It is easy to get lost in the gifts and busy pace of the season and miss the whole reason why we celebrate Christmas in the first place - the birth of Jesus!
The four candles used, three purple and one pink, mark the Sundays of Advent leading up to Christmas.
Week 1 – Purple Candle “HOPE” – reminds us that God keeps his promises. The Prophet’s candle.
Week 2 – Purple Candle “PEACE” – reminds us that God’s love brings us peace. Bethlehem’s Candle.
Week 3 – Pink Candle “JOY” – Christmas is a time of joy. The Shepherds’ Candle.
Week 4 – Purple Candle “LOVE” – God loves us so much that He gave us the greatest gift of all, His Son, our Savior! The Angel’s Candle.
The Advent Wreath serves as a powerful visual reminder of the holiness of the season. The light of the candles invites us to quiet ourselves during this busy time and reflect on the true meaning of Christmas.
The Advent Candle Pot is my version of an Advent wreath. The pot features four candle holders to hold your four taper candles. The pot can be filled with water to add fresh, winter greens to create a beautiful centerpiece. This is definitely a collector’s piece – make it an heirloom for your family!
Have fun filling the pot with beautiful arrangements — from winter greens, berries and pinecones, to succulents and winter florals.
Each Advent Candle Pot was thrown on the wheel (candle holders as well) and then hand carved and adorned with the scenes of the Nativity. The interior is glazed in a glossy sage green, while the exterior is left raw and rustic with a simple red iron oxide stain. The four candles are included with your Advent Candle Pot.
This pot stands around 7 to 7.25" tall (without tapers).
**greens and other fillers are NOT included** All Pots this year are glazed in green. The images of the advent pots in white are examples to show how you can fill with fresh greens.

All of my ceramic wares are thrown in small batches. Each piece is made by hand with care, so while a "batch" of mugs, for example, may all look the same, each one will have it's own unique touch. Nothing here is mass-produced, so each piece is truly one-of-a-kind.
