Serve up tea in style with this one-of-a-kind crystalline-glazed teapot.  Wheel-thrown and crafted with care, this teapot holds approx. 26oz and stand 5.5" tall (with lid on).  The interior of the teapot is glazed in a glossy white.  The exterior is glazed in blue rutile on the top two thirds with an avocado green on the bottom third.  The lid is glazed in blue rutile.  This is a great size for steeping a pot of tea for you and your guests.  Serve a  cup or two and keep another steeping for a refill.
 
Teapot should be used for steeping and serving tea only.  For safety and longevity of your teapot, never place directly on burner to boil water.  Boil water in appropriate kettle and then transfer hot water to teapot and pour in slowly to allow your teapot to naturally warm as more water is added.  If you have a teapot warmer, you can place your pot on that to keep your tea hot between cups.
