Planters are not just for tabletops, so let's hang them right on the wall!  An angled nail or screw right into the stud will work well.  You can also use a monkey hook (or sometimes called a Hercules hook) and poke it through anywhere in the wall you want...stud is not required.  Those hooks are game changers!  These planters were thrown in our dark low-fire clay and trimmed into a dome shape.  As the pot dried it was laid on one side, creating a flatted side to hang up against the wall.  This pot was glazed in glossy black with rutile blue trailing over the rim on the inside and outside near the rim, but leaving the rim left in unglazed, raw clay...it was fired upside down on the rim so the underside could be fully glazed.  Great planter to trailing plants!  These planters measure approx. 6" tall and 7" in a rim diameter.  Can easily hold a 3 qt. potted plant.
